To dance is to rise above obstacles and stretch beyond my reality. To dream. To take risks. To seek change. I grew up with my mom as a single parent so after school I was usually home alone. A thousand times I danced my way around the house warding off the loneliness and fear to gain a feeling of hope, connectedness, and belonging to something greater than myself. I now realize how much an inner sense of belonging in the world inspires me to achieve great things. Read article >></image:caption>

The crisis rippled through commercial airline operations, package delivery logistics, ecommerce, and health care, to name a few. This incident serves as a stark reminder that business disruptions are not just potential threats, but common occurrences that demand immediate attention from CEOs, C-suite teams, and boards. It's time for leaders to take stock of their companies’ operational resilience—their ability to withstand disruptions and crises. Read Op-Ed co-written by Anita >></image:caption>

At just the age of 10, she fell in love with technology because at the time her father worked at Hewlett-Packard (HP). Although he was in the sales department, he was encouraged by sales engineers to buy her a computer to learn how to code. Lynch was given a Radio Shack TRS-80, which resembles an electric typewriter, along with a book of programs to build her own creations. Read profile >></image:caption>

<image:title>Activities - Where I Started in 2023: Turning Setbacks into Stepping Stones after fracturing my foot.</image:title>
<image:caption>Training for my first half marathon in 2023, I faced a major setback: a fractured bone in my foot that left me temporarily on crutches and then in a boot, limiting my mobility and putting most of my everyday activities on pause. It was an unexpected reminder of how quickly things we take for granted can change. Yet, rather than letting it define a limit, I decided to make it a starting point. First, I had to accept my new situation and adapt. I started doing upper body and core workouts every day to manage stress and maintain body strength. I tried lots of alternatives to crutches to help me stay mobile and as self-sufficient as I could. There were many falls, calluses in new places and days so frustrating that all I could do was cry.</image:caption>

<image:title>Activities - As I continued to recover, I committed to training for my first half marathon—a goal that I had postponed many times in the past due to work or family obligations. It now felt even more ambitious and daunting given where I was starting from.</image:title>
<image:caption>Using the Peloton app and countless hours first on the treadmill then running on city streets, I found myself rebuilding strength step by step. Each training session wasn’t just about physical recovery; it was about proving to myself that determination could transform challenges into victories. Crossing that first half-marathon finish line brought an immense sense of pride—not just for the race itself, but for completing a goal I’d set despite the obstacles. It’s a reminder to keep pushing forward, no matter how hard the road may seem.</image:caption>
